Time: The Inconstant Constant

I can't believe it's almost December, almost time for finals, and almost time to go home for the holidays. I can't believe the last time I posted was Sept. 28th, 2004. It seems like yesterday. And I'm almost right. As I grow older time seems to fly by more quickly. The scientist would turn it into an equation that states "the speed of time is directly proportional to age." If time speed increases, age increases. If time speed decreases, age decreases. I was determined to prove that this phenomenon is true. It cannot simply be attributed to nostalgic old people who are afraid to die and go crazy. In fact, the truly sane individuals, like myself, will realize time is relative. Some scientists argue that certain celestial bodies might have a different time scale than earth's. However, I believe bodies on earth have different time scales depending upon their age. To illustrate my point, let's examine the time interval of "1 year" throughout a person's life. We'll name this person Bob. Now imagine Bob when he was 2 year old. To him, 1 year was the equivalent to 1/2 his life. Bob felt as though it took an eternity to turn 3. At age 50, 1 year equated to only 1/50th of his life. Therefore, when he turned 51, he perceived it to take 25 times less to age by 1 year than when he turned 3. To further examine my math, see the charts below. That should temporarily work.)
